Leigha Senter-Jamieson, MS, LGC

Ms. Senter-Jamieson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University in 2001 and a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. She was certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2007. Since graduation, Ms. Senter-Jamieson has worked as a cancer genetic counselor at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and is currently associate professor (clinical) in the Department of Internal Medicine. She is active in research and has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and oversees thesis work for the OSU graduate students.

Ms. Senter-Jamieson has been active in the National Society of Genetic Counselors, including co-chairing the region IV Education conference in 2004, co-chairing the Cancer SIG from 2009-2011, chairing the Audrey Heimler Special Projects Committee in 2009, and chairing the Education Committee in 2012, and serving as a Director-at-Large on the Board of Directors. She was also Communications Committee Chair for the American Board of Genetic Counseling from 2009-2011 and was an executive council member for the Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Colorectal Cancers from 2007-2010. She is also a medical advisor for FORCE.​​​​​
