Ohio State Integrative Medicine offers a wide variety of classes from low impact fitness to restorative yoga that enhance your physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social well-being. Studies suggest that practicing tai chi may have a variety of health benefits, such as better balance, reduced back and knee pain, and a better quality of life for people with heart disease, cancer and other chronic illnesses. Research has also shown that Qi Gong’s slow meditative movements and focused awareness on healing may reduce fibromyalgia and chronic neck pain, improve immune function and promote general wellness.
