Experiences and Interests

Kayla enjoys working with patients of all ages and fitness levels with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses at the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2017 from The Ohio State University and was presented with the Outstanding DPT Student award. Following graduation she sought additional training to become a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200), which has contributed to Kayla’s holistic approach when evaluating and treating each individual patient. Her clinical interests include working with the endurance medicine team and treating patients with spine or lower extremity ailments. Kayla’s goal is to empower each patient to reach their highest level of function. Outside of physical therapy, Kayla enjoys staying active through running and yoga, exploring the Columbus food scene, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
