At The Ohio State University College of Medicine, our mission is clear. We are committed to the success of training tomorrow’s doctors and improving people’s lives through tremendous growth, innovative research and cross-college collaboration. The future of medicine is happening right here, today and every day.
Here at the Ohio State College of Medicine, we have a long tradition of excellence. This tradition reflects the hard work that our faculty, staff and students put forth every day to fulfill our mission of improving health in Ohio and across the world through innovation in research, education and patient care. And our new strategic plan provides a clear vision for our collective future, affording countless opportunities to imagine and realize amazing new heights.
“Our mission is clear. We are committed to success. The future of medicine is happening today at Ohio State.”
The plan outlines significant growth and improvements for the College of Medicine and medical center. Over the next five years, campus will boast a state-of-the art College of Medicine, a new biomedical research facility, a new 880-bed hospital tower and four new ambulatory sites. As we strive to continue our trajectory as a top academic medical center, these new facilities will help us grow in all three areas of the academic mission.
Ohio State College of Medicine is among the best places anywhere to train to become a doctor. Every year, our researchers obtain hundreds of awards totaling tens of millions of dollars. And because our generous donors supplied millions more, our laboratories and research programs are bursting with breakthrough discoveries.
Our mission is clear. We are committed to success. The future of medicine is happening today at Ohio State.
