What do you love most about OSU Plastic Surgery?
The people! I cannot say enough about the people at OSU. From co-residents to PAs to attendings to support staff--OSU is the amazing place that it is because of the team. Everyone is incredibly supportive and invested in our communal success.
What do you wish everyone knew about Columbus?
Columbus is a great place to live for all stages of life. I came as a single person and am now married with a new baby (I know I am biased but he is adorable and perfect!). It has something for everyone! And Columbus has an amazing metro park system that allows you to get outside with minimal effort or travel time.
What does a typical day off look like for you (i.e. what do you like to do for fun)?
We love to cook and hang out with friends--this usually involves a BBQ or some other cooking activity. We also love to go for walks and hikes...any excuse to get outdoors!
What is your favorite restaurant in Columbus?
Chapman's Eat Market! Its so good it made the NYT 50 best restaurant list this year. Highly recommend!
What is your favorite travel destination?
Tough one. I would say my new favorite urban destination is Mexico City. But we also love exploring national parks and hiking. We recently went to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (driving distance from Columbus) and fell in love with it! The views are spectacular.
What is your favorite outdoor activity in Columbus?
Anything at the Metro Parks. Columbus has such a robust and well maintained metro park system that its hard not to be outside
