The Battelle Endowment for Technology and Human Affairs announces a call for proposals for the 2011 - 2012 competition. The Battelle Endowment:
- provides funding to support university activities designed to continue the examination and understanding of the impact of science and technology on individuals and society.
- places a strong emphasis on educational and public service programs rather than research.
- typically supports between 4 and 5 new projects each year, depending upon prior commitments of Endowment funds. Awards are made in the range of $10,000 to $60,000, and evidence of either matching funds or additional support by the proposer's academic units is desirable.
The proposal deadline is Friday, January 20, 2012.
