Framework 2.0 is a plan for the physical campus that’s adaptable, flexible and guided by our strategic academic plan over the next three, seven and 10 years. It’s the foundation of the university we aspire to be in 2030, and guided by five principles — collaboration, innovation, high-quality facilities, connectivity and sustainability — designed to promote student success and support our academic mission. 

Over the next five to seven years, Ohio State will add a groundbreaking and transformational new biomedical research facility and a new 880-bed hospital tower, as well as four new ambulatory sites. As we continue our trajectory as a top academic medical center in the U.S., these new facilities will help us grow in all three areas of our mission: innovation in research, education and patient care.
