Selected Funds
Fund Number: 317171
Supports a lectureship focused on medical ethics and/or palliative medicine in the Center for Bioethics & Medical Humanities and the Division of Bioethics in the College of Medicine. Official purpose to be determined at a later date.
Fund Number: 604064
This fund was established November 3, 1978. It envisioned a lecture every other year and a student essay contest every other year. After the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities was founded in 2013 we were asked to manage this fund. We have made it an annual lecture and an annual student essay contest (with the student presenting the winning paper at our annual conference). Currently, this fund is very modest and we are currently hoping to increase the endowed funds to make this a sustainable offering of the Center.
Fund Number: 314061
