About

Biography

I am a clinical assistant professor of Radiology and a diagnostic medical physicist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My clinical work supports the safe and effective use of medical imaging across CT, fluoroscopy, radiography, mammography, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, including equipment performance evaluations, protocol optimization, and dose monitoring. I also serve as faculty in the Imaging Physics Residency Program and the graduate medical physics program.

My research has progressed from imaging detector physics — high spatio-temporal resolution X-ray detectors, photon-counting detectors, and flat-panel detector design — to radiation dose and protocol optimization in CT and fluoroscopy, and most recently to quantitative SPECT (qSPECT) for radiopharmaceutical therapy dosimetry. My current work focuses on developing and optimizing a clinical qSPECT dosimetry workflow and optimization of image quality for newer radiophamaceuticals in PET Imaging.
