About
Biography
I am a mixed-methods pharmacoepidemiologist whose research focuses on improving medication prescribing practices across diverse areas of medicine. I combine secondary data sources—including administrative claims, electronic health records, and surveys—with rigorous epidemiologic methods to address complex questions in prescribing behavior and associated patient outcomes.
In addition to my quantitative expertise, I am trained in qualitative methodologies and leads studies that explore perspectives on prescription medications and their costs. My dual training enables my to approach research questions with a comprehensive and nuanced methodological toolkit.
My work spans multiple clinical domains, including neurologic disorders, chronic conditions, and maternal child health. My interdisciplinary approach supports the development of evidence-based strategies to optimize medication use and improve patient care.
I earned my PhD in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and completed postdoctoral research in the Center for the Advancement of Team Science, Analytics, and Systems Thinking (CATALYST) at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I am affiliated with CATALYST and the Neurology Health Services Research Division at Ohio State.
