I am Andrew Buck, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in advancing knowledge that supports mental health and behavioral health outcomes. My research focuses on generating evidence that can improve our understanding of psychiatric and behavioral mental health conditions, and our prevention and treatment approaches to them. Through my work, I seek to address important questions in psychiatry and behavioral health and contribute to research that informs clinical practice and supports patient-centered care. I am committed to collaboration, scientific discovery and the translation of research findings into meaningful improvements in mental healthcare and patient well-being.

My goals are to expand our understanding of factors that influence mental and behavioral health and to support innovative mental healthcare approaches that improve outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
