About

Biography

I am an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Medicine - Anesthesiology, and I specialize in anesthesiology and anesthesiology/pain management. My research focuses on spinal cord stimulation, spinal cord injury, and outcomes-related studies using retrospective analysis to better understand treatment effectiveness and patient safety.

My work explores the use of spinal cord stimulator implants in pain management and investigates clinical patterns and incidental findings that can influence care decisions. I am particularly interested in advancing knowledge around complex cardiovascular and neurologic interactions, including conditions such as sinus of Valsalva abnormalities and atrial fistula, and how they intersect with anesthesiology practice.

Through my research, I aim to contribute to improved, data-driven approaches that enhance procedural care, optimize pain management strategies, and support better outcomes for patients across a range of clinical settings.
