About
Biography
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Pharmacology and a member of the Gene Therapy Institute at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. My laboratory focuses on developing next-generation genome editing technologies to enable precise and efficient gene correction for inherited diseases.
By integrating prime editing-based approaches with viral and nonviral delivery systems such as AAV and lipid nanoparticles, my team aims to expand the therapeutic potential of gene editing to a wide range of tissues including the liver, nervous system and muscle. My research seeks to translate fundamental molecular innovations into clinically relevant strategies that advance the safety, precision and scalability of genome and gene therapy.
I appreciate the commitment to innovation here in the Ohio State College of Medicine, and the readily available resources that allow me to pursue highly complex research.
