About

Biography

My laboratory focuses on developing next-generation genome editing technologies to enable precise and efficient gene correction for inherited diseases. By integrating CRISPR/Cas9, base editing, and prime editing–based approaches with viral and nonviral delivery systems such as adeno-associated virus (AAV) and lipid nanoparticles, my team aims to expand the therapeutic potential of genome editing across a broad range of tissues, including liver, nervous system, and muscle. My research seeks to translate fundamental molecular innovations into clinically relevant strategies that advance the safety, precision, and scalability of genome and gene therapy.
