About
Biography
I am a clinical assistant professor in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. As a clinician scientist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I'm passionate about both clinical practice and research. My work with the Suicide and Trauma Reduction Initiative (STRIVE) allows me to directly impact the lives of individuals struggling with PTSD and suicide risk. I am the Director of our R&R program, which provides state-of-the-art psychological treatment for current service members and veterans with suicide risk and/or symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related to exposure to military and nonmilitary related traumatic events.
