About
Biography
My research interests include individual and neighborhood-level social determinants of health, diabetes in pregnancy, peripartum cardiometabolic health and the utilization of pregnancy as a window for future health and for engagement in preventive care. I am site PI for the PCORI’s DECIDE comparative effectiveness trial of metformin versus insulin for the treatment of gestational diabetes. I am also a co-investigator for NIH’s ECHO prospective cohort examining birthparent cardiometabolic health and long-term child health and development as a co-investigator.
