About

Biography

In Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Hilliard, I work with patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly. I have a specific focus on caring for adults on the autism spectrum and is the Medical director for the Center for Autism Services and Transition (CAST). In this role, I work with young adults and adults and I focus on improving access to care by understanding potential barriers and helping patients navigate the healthcare system.

Currently, I am involved research focused on better understanding the experience of patients on the autism spectrum as they transition from pediatric to adult care as well as ways to overcome the barriers they experience. I also frequently provides education and training to other healthcare providers to improve their comfort in caring for patients on the autism spectrum.
