About
Biography
I am David Wolfe, PsyD, ABPP, assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in addiction research and recovery science. My research focuses on addiction treatment, recovery programs and strategies that support long-term health and well-being for individuals affected by substance use disorders.
Through my research, I work to better understand the factors that influence recovery and the effectiveness of programs designed to support people throughout the recovery process. I am interested in developing and evaluating approaches that improve access to care, strengthen recovery support systems and help individuals achieve sustainable recovery outcomes.
My work emphasizes translating research into practical solutions that can inform clinical care, community-based programs and health policy. By collaborating with healthcare professionals, researchers and community partners, I aim to advance evidence-based approaches that improve the lives of individuals and families affected by addiction.
