About

Biography

I am Delvise Fogwe, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in gastrointestinal diseases and advanced endoscopic care. My research focuses on conditions affecting the digestive tract, including Barrett's esophagus, irritable bowel syndrome, colonic polyps and other gastrointestinal disorders.

As a physician-scientist in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, I am committed to improving the understanding, detection and management of gastrointestinal diseases. My areas of expertise include colonoscopy, endoscopy, evaluation and management of colonic polyps, Barrett's esophagus, and irritable bowel syndrome.

I am board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also hold credentials through the American Heart Association National Center. I completed fellowship training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where I developed advanced expertise in gastroenterology and digestive health.

Through my work, I strive to advance knowledge in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases while contributing to better outcomes and quality of life for patients.
