About

Biography

In addition to my clinical work, as an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and faculty in the Nisonger LEND program, I provide clinical supervision to doctoral students and conduct research. My research interests include the assessment and treatment of autism and developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions, sensory processing in autism, educational, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I completed my PhD in psychology at Syracuse University, predoctoral internship at the UNC Chapel Hill TEACCH Autism Center, and postdoctoral internship at the Nisonger Center. I additionally have NADD-CC Clinical Certification in the specialization area of dual diagnosis of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and mental health.
