About
Biography
As an associate professor in Radiation Oncology, I specialize in advanced radiation therapy techniques with a focus on precision, safety, and improving outcomes for complex cases. My clinical work includes motion management, reirradiation, and highly targeted treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT), and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT).
My training in therapeutic medical physics at The Ohio State University provided a strong foundation in both clinical practice and advanced treatment planning. I have a particular interest in developing and applying advanced planning and treatment techniques for breast cancer, as well as other challenging disease sites.
My research focuses on emerging technologies and innovative strategies for motion management, helping to better account for patient and tumor movement during treatment. I am also interested in clinical radiobiological models that can guide more personalized and effective therapy. Additional areas of focus include spine SBRT, intracranial simultaneous integrated boost techniques in SRT, and cardiac radioablation, all aimed at expanding the capabilities of radiation therapy in treating complex conditions.
I believe in advancing the field through a combination of clinical expertise, research, and collaboration. Working within a multidisciplinary team allows me to contribute to the development of safer, more precise, and more effective radiation treatments that ultimately improve patient care.
