About
Biography
I am responsible for management and implementation of all clinical courses for the Occupational Therapy curriculum. I am the chair of the Capstone Outcomes committee for the Academic Leadership Council. My research interests lie in the use of adaptive sports to improve quality of life in individuals with disabilities of all ages.
I have a variety of professional practice experiences, including five years in management, and more than 15 years in practice with experience in acute and outpatient adult settings and expertise in pediatric settings.
I hold AOTA board certification in Pediatrics, have completed the WPS/USC Certificate in Sensory Integration and have advanced training in aquatic therapy and feeding with children. Additionally, I have experience coaching rowing and swimming for high school and adult able-bodied and adaptive athletes.
