About
Biography
I am Hadley DeBrosse, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. As a diagnostic physicist and early-career investigator, I work to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of medical imaging. My research explores quality control and quality improvement strategies for multi-energy CT, sustainable approaches to imaging operations, and radiation safety practices that support high-quality patient care. I am also interested in medical physics education, including improving how trainees and clinicians communicate to patients about radiation risks.
I serve on the American College of Radiology Sustainability Committee, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine Working Group on Environmental Sustainability in Medical Imaging Physics, and the writing committee for the 2027 revision of the ACR-AAPM Technical Standard for Diagnostic Medical Physics Performance Monitoring of Computed Tomography Equipment.
