About

Biography

I am a professor of Anesthesiology in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I am passionate about participating in innovative research to further the field of anesthesiology. My experience includes providing anesthetics during the first cardiac surgery case at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center that utilized the da Vinci robotic surgical system. I was also involved during the first single-lung and first double-lung transplant surgeries at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Additionally, I helped organize the first international meeting at Ohio State that focused on eliminating the complication of paralysis after aortic aneurysm surgery.

I enjoy educating and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows.
