Biography

I am Heide Klumpp, PhD, professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in psychiatry and behavioral sleep medicine. My research focuses on advancing knowledge in these areas and translating research findings into approaches that improve mental and behavioral healthcare.

My work explores topics related to psychiatric health and behavioral sleep medicine, with an emphasis on understanding factors that influence mental health and well-being. I am also engaged in medical education, helping to advance training and learning opportunities for future healthcare professionals. Through research, education and collaboration, I aim to contribute to evidence-based practices that support better outcomes for patients and communities.
