About
Biography
My research interests include the implementation and impact of technology within medicine. Historically, this has been the impact of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) on clinical care. With the rapid advancement of technology, my interests are shifting toward understanding how machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping both clinical practice and medical education. In the coming years, my research will focus on how technology impacts patient care and education. I have a special interest in identifying how educators can best train current medical students and resident physicians to be better physicians in a future where technology may change some of their roles.
I appreciate the commitment to innovation here in The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and the readily available resources that allow me to pursue highly complex research.
