Biography

I am James Harper, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in neuroradiology and brain imaging. My research focuses on advancing the use of imaging to better understand the brain and support more accurate diagnosis and treatment of neurologic conditions.

As a faculty member in the Department of Radiology’s Neuroradiology Division, I am interested in the development and application of advanced imaging techniques that improve our understanding of the brain and nervous system. My work centers on neuroradiology and brain imaging, with an emphasis on generating clinically meaningful insights that can inform patient care and future research.

Through collaborative research, I seek to enhance the role of imaging in identifying neurologic disease, guiding treatment decisions and improving outcomes. I am committed to translating imaging discoveries into practical tools and approaches that benefit patients while advancing the field of neuroradiology.
