About

Biography

I am James Harper, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology . My research focuses on advancing the use of imaging and artificial intelligence to help doctors better understand the brain and to support more accurate diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.

As a faculty member in the Department of Radiology’s Neuroradiology Division, I am interested in the development and application of advanced imaging techniques that benefit patients while advancing the field of neuroradiology. My work centers on brain and spine imaging, with an emphasis on contributing tools and clinically meaningful insights that can improve patient safety and support radiologists.

Through collaborative research and thoughtful patient care, I seek to enhance the role of imaging in identifying neurological disease, guiding treatment decisions and improving outcomes.
