About
Biography
My academic work has focused on improving treatments for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, meniscus and cartilage injuries and kneecap problems. I have been at the forefront of research that showed that in certain cases, ACL tears can be repaired instead of replaced (reconstruction), which leads to preservation of the body’s own tissue and potentially an easier or faster recovery. My future research will involve advanced treatments of ligament, meniscus and cartilage injuries.
I am extensively involved in publishing medical research in peer-reviewed journals and am frequently invited to present my research findings at national and international conferences, which enables me to offer the best possible and most recent treatments and outcomes to my patients.
