About
Biography
My research efforts have been centered on therapeutics in rheumatology. I am currently serving as the principal investigator for three clinical trials involving patients with various forms of myositides. The studies include innovative therapies for conditions such as dermatomyositis and polymyositis. In addition to clinical trials, I collaborate with other researchers on a few other projects.
My role at Ohio State includes helping train the next generation of physicians and I am an associate professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. As a member of the Clinical Competency Committee, I help develop policies and guidelines for the Rheumatology fellowship. This role has included helping to develop and implement the musculoskeletal ultrasound curriculum.
In addition to my clinical and academic responsibilities, I also serve on the Rheumatology Clinic Steering Committee.
