About
Biography
I am an assistant professor of Radiology in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. My research interests focus on developing and implementing noninvasive and comprehensive cardiovascular and pulmonary magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams. My goal is to develop MRI-based measurements and biomarkers to characterize the involvement of the heart and lung at rest and during exercise in health and disease. These imaging tools, including imaging at mid-field MRI, are used in research studies to help us better identify and understand the disease process in patients.
My experience includes serving as a principal investigator or co-investigator on research projects. I have coauthored multiple articles published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and Radiology: Cardiothoracic Imaging. I also present my research at national and international scientific meetings.
I am an active member of professional organizations including the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
