About
Biography
I am Jyoti Pandya, MD, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in regional anesthesia, acupuncture, equipment use and the effect of medication on patients. I use quantitative and qualitative approaches in my research to better understand patient outcomes and to optimize perioperative care.
My research work explores how different anesthesia techniques and medications impact patient safety, comfort and recovery. I am particularly interested in advancing approaches such as regional anesthesia and acupuncture to improve patient experiences and outcomes. Through collaboration and research, I aim to contribute to evidence-based practices that enhance care delivery within anesthesiology.
In addition to my clinical and research responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I work closely with trainees to help them build clinical expertise, strengthen their critical thinking and foster a patient-centered approach to anesthesiology.
