About

Biography

As a professor in Radiation Oncology, I am dedicated to advancing the field through education, innovation, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. My training spans therapeutic radiological physics, diagnostic radiological physics, and medical nuclear physics, providing a comprehensive foundation that informs my clinical, academic, and leadership work.

I am deeply passionate about radiation oncology training and education, as well as mentorship, helping to guide and develop the next generation of clinicians and physicists. My clinical interests include advanced treatment techniques such as image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT/VMAT), and gating, all aimed at improving treatment precision and patient outcomes.

I am actively involved in clinical trials, accreditation efforts, and outreach initiatives, as well as the evaluation and implementation of new technologies. My work also extends to international collaborations and affairs, contributing to the global advancement of radiation oncology practices.

My research focuses on government and regulatory affairs, advocacy, and fostering a strong safety culture within radiation oncology. I believe that meaningful progress in our field depends not only on technological innovation, but also on thoughtful policy, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to patient-centered care.
