About
Biography
I am Lindsay Douglas, PhD, DABR, assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I am certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic medical physics and am a certified radiation expert in Ohio for mammography and diagnostic radiology.
As a clinical medical physicist, I support the safe and effective use of all imaging modalities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. My work centers on advancing high-quality patient care through quality management, including equipment performance testing, radiation safety evaluations, and protocol optimization.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am actively engaged in education and research. I serve as a preceptor within the Imaging Medical Physics Residency Program and am passionate about educating students, residents, clinicians, and the public about the role of physicists in healthcare. My research interests include radiation dose optimization, breast imaging, interventional radiology, personalized dosimetry, and quality improvement.
