About
Biography
I am Morgan Torcasio, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in geriatric psychiatry. My research focuses on the mental health and well-being of older adults, with an emphasis on advancing understanding and care of aging populations.
My work is centered on addressing the unique psychiatric and behavioral health needs that can emerge later in life. Through research and collaboration, I seek to improve the quality of care for older adults and help develop evidence-based approaches that support healthy aging, cognitive health and emotional well-being.
As a member of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, I am committed to advancing knowledge in geriatric mental health and contributing to research that helps improve outcomes for patients, families and communities. I value interdisciplinary collaboration and the translation of research findings into meaningful improvements in clinical practice and patient care.
