About
Biography
My academic interests are in disaster response and emergency preparedness. I have created and currently instruct an elective course in Disaster Medicine for senior medical students, and frequently participate as a Stop the Bleed Instructor.
As a professor, my interests include medical student education and emergency preparedness, and I hold several additional leadership roles within medical organizations. I'm also the director of Part 3 of the LSI Curriculum for the College of Medicine.
I received a grant to teach mass casualty triage to first responders in virtual reality, and I am presently working on a mass casualty triage project for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency In the Moment Program.
