About

Biography

As a medical physicist, I specialize in advanced radiation therapy techniques and the development of innovative approaches to cancer treatment. My work focuses on cutting-edge modalities such as FLASH radiotherapy and Boron Neutron Capture Therapy, as well as state-of-the-art delivery methods designed to maximize precision and effectiveness.

My research interests include objective, image- and knowledge-guided targeting for radiosurgery and modern radiation therapy approaches, including 3D treatment planning, conformal radiation therapy, and intensity modulated radiation therapy. Through these technologies, I strive to improve treatment accuracy while minimizing exposure to healthy tissues.

A key part of my work involves the development of radiation measurement systems in both biology and medicine. I also study the simulation and modeling of radiation dose using advanced transport methods, with the goal of better understanding and characterizing normal tissue tolerance across different radiation fields. This research directly informs safer and more effective treatment protocols.

I am actively involved in clinical trials development, helping translate emerging technologies and research findings into practical therapies that can benefit patients.

I believe in advancing patient care through innovation, collaboration, and a deep commitment to precision medicine. Working in a multidisciplinary environment allows me to partner with clinicians, researchers, and colleagues who continually push the boundaries of what is possible in radiation oncology.
