About
Biography
My research is focused on implant selection, surgical decision-making, strategies to improve outcomes for patients with adjacent segment disease, and on leadership and medical education. I have written more than 25 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, and I am often invited to discuss spine surgery outcomes, surgical techniques and physician leadership at national conferences.
I completed my residency training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and I am excited to return and be a leader within the Department of Orthopaedics in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I am deeply committed to academic medicine because I believe teaching, research and clinical care all intersect to drive better patient outcomes. My career in medicine has always been rooted in education and mentorship, and I am passionate about guiding the next generation of surgeons.
