Biography
I am an associate professor in the Division of Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and a researcher with the Sports Medicine Research Institute at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I study mechanisms of disability in individuals with orthopaedic injuries with the goal of developing effective rehabilitation strategies to optimize function and physical activity participation across the lifespan. I have published over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and her work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Foundation for Physical Therapy, the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy, the Ohio Physical Therapy Association, and Ohio State's Center for Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). I am an Associate Editor of the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy and the Co-Chair of the Research Committee of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy.
