About

Biography

I am Xuan V. Nguyen, MD, PhD, professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in clinical radiology. My research focuses on advancing the use of imaging technologies to improve diagnosis, clinical decision-making and patient care, including artificial intelligence (AI) and related radiologic applications.

I have published over 70 journal articles, in addition to numerous abstracts and book chapters. My scholarly activity spans multiple topics including neuroimaging, neurodegenerative disease, and emerging technologies in diagnostic imaging.

I am committed to collaborative, translational research that connects imaging science with real-world clinical challenges. By bringing together expertise in radiology, technology and data-driven innovation, I aim to advance knowledge that supports more effective and efficient patient care.
