Experience and Interests

I started working for OSU in 2011 as a PCA and then transitioned to the registered nurse role after graduating with my BSN. As a nurse I worked on a step-down unit where I cared for critically ill patients with a variety of conditions. After completing my education to become a family nurse practitioner, I was chosen for OSU’s competitive family medicine nurse practitioner fellowship. During my fellowship year I received additional training and education in primary care. After my fellowship, I was very excited to accept a position as a nurse practitioner in a primary care role. My professional interests include health promotion, disease prevention, and women’s health. I enjoy building relationships with my patients and helping them navigate their acute and chronic conditions. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and dog. I love to travel the world, go hiking/backpacking, and crochet.
