Experience and Interests
After graduation, Melissa completed a post-graduate year-1 residency at Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, OH. During residency, she was involved in disease state management clinics, including diabetes, heart disease, anticoagulation, pain control and medication therapy management. Upon completion of her residency, she worked at the Mount Carmel Anticoagulation Clinic for five years. During her time at Mount Carmel, she was also involved in a hypertension management clinic and the St. Ann’s Family Practice Clinic, assisting in diabetes care. She joined The Ohio State University Department of Family and Community Medicine in 2017. She enjoys running, spending time with her family and cheering on the Buckeyes!Practice Locations
