Kinsey Ludt, LSW joined OSUMC in July 2018 and works as the medical specialty social worker for multiple OSU outpatient locations. She provides social work services to Rheumatology/Nephrology, Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Endocrinology, Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine, Cardiology and Dermatology specialties. Kinsey earned her master’s degree from The Ohio State University and focused on healthcare and mental health in academia as well as her internship with the James Cancer Hospital.
Kinsey practices according to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) code of ethics, especially the patient’s right to self-determination while respecting the dignity and worth of the person. She believes that a collaborative approach to delivering healthcare reduces barriers to care and creates opportunities for more effective outcomes.
