Dr. Frey specializes in maternal fetal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Her research is primarily focused on preterm birth prevention and optimization of labor management. She’s also interested in further exploring the intrapartum care of pregnant individuals with obesity.

Dr. Frey is devoted to using her clinical research training and experience to mentor junior colleagues, including medical students, residents and fellows. She’s director of Resident Research for the department and serves as the director of the Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship program.
