Dr. Dixon is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is the vice chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as an assistant professor. She also serves as medical director of the Moms2B program.
Dr. Dixon’s career and research interests include eliminating racial and ethnic inequities in reproductive health care. This includes improving access to quality health care in historically underserved communities and implementing implicit bias and antiracism training for faculty, staff and medical students. Dr. Dixon is the principal investigator on a state grant-funded project to investigate experiences of discrimination of Black birthing people in their prenatal care. She also serves on the Health Equity Steering Committee for the Ohio Maternal Safety Quality Improvement Project.
