Dr. Gilliam is the vice president and provost of The Ohio State University and a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Gilliam’s research addresses the clinical, behavioral, social and policy determinants of reproductive health disparities among adolescents in the United States and globally using an asset-based or positive youth development framework. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation and the Irving Harris Foundation, among others.
