Professional Interests
Dr. Manning is an infectious diseases physician who specializes in general infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship. She serves as medical director of the antimicrobial stewardship program providing both general oversight and leadership to the program as well as actively participating in various ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Manning is passionate about patient care and ensuring patient safety and appropriate and optimal antibiotic use and preventing the rise of antibiotic resistance. She teaches students, residents, and fellows important concepts related to clinical infectious diseases and stewardship. In her clinic, she cares for patients with various infections and has a particular fondness for treating Hepatitis C while providing equitable and compassionate care.
