Professional Interests
My major research and clinical interest focus on the implementation of rapid laboratory tests for the diagnosis of infectious diseases with special interest of low cost tests for use in areas of limited resources and microbial resistance. I am currently the Director of the Immunology and Associate Director of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratories and I direct the Mycology and Mycobacteriology. My area of expertise is laboratory medicine.
