Research Description: Our primary area of focus is on outcomes following traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. We are involved in multi-center longitudinal studies studying the natural history of recovery following traumatic brain injury. We are also interested in the relationship between traumatic brain injury and substance abuse, and in other disorders of self-regulation. Various intervention studies are also being conducted.

Research Description: We wish to assess outcomes of rehabilitation protocols commonly prescribed in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and publish results of outcome assessments in order to disseminate relevant information to the field. Our gait laboratory is a central data acquisition resource for pursuing such studies.
