Thursday, Nov. 12 | Arrival and Signature Ohio State Experiences
- Optional off‑site activities designed to showcase Columbus, including:
- Golf outing at The Country Club at Muirfield Village
- Animal encounter at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
- Special evening dinner at Ohio Stadium, featuring behind‑the‑scenes tours, dinner, remarks from guest speaker Ohio Lt. Gov. and former Ohio State Head Football Coach Jim Tressel and a few fun Buckeye surprises for attendees
Friday, Nov. 13 | Education and Celebration
- Full day of programming at the new University Hospital, the largest hospital bed tower opening in the nation in 2026
- OR observations across multiple disciplines, including cardiac surgery, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Scientific presentations and educational sessions
- Society business meeting (members only)
- Companions will spend the day at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
- Formal black-tie dinner at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum with remarks from Ohio State leadership and an Ohio State trauma surgeon who’s a Navy veteran
Saturday, Nov. 14 | Closing Events
- Breakfast and featured keynote presentation by Doug Ulman, vice chairman of the Pelotonia board of directors and former president and CEO of LIVESTRONG
- Optional tailgate experience ahead of Ohio State football, as the Buckeyes take on Northwestern University
- Closing celebration and final dinner at the home of Ohio State Surgeon-in-Chief Dr. Tim Pawlik to conclude the 2026 annual meeting
