Working in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Dr. Moore is committed to the education of his patients and working to improve their understanding about health concerns. He believes that patients with a greater understanding of their own health concerns will be able to make more informed decisions about their treatment and this will result in increased patient safety, and improved quality of care.
Collaborating with other departments within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Dr. Moore is working on implementing several cutting-edge programs that can improve both the safety and quality of care provided for patients. One program focuses on improving the continuity of care between many specialists for patients with hereditary cancer syndromes. Another program focuses on ensuring quality health care for patients with latent tuberculosis infections.
Additionally, Dr. Moore leads the resident continuity clinic at the Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza and is also an associate director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at The Ohio State University. Dr. Jared Moore is working to guarantee the highest level of patient care and safety while providing residents with an excellent training experience.
