Kriss PetrovskisKriss Petrovskis, PharmD, MS joined Ohio State in August 2024 as Director, Pharmacy Business Operations. In this role, he is responsible for the 340B Programs, sourcing, finance and revenue integrity across the health system. Prior to Ohio State Kriss served as Director, Pharmacy Business and Revenue Management at Duke University Health System since 2020.

In this role he assumed responsibility for the 340B Programs, pharmacy finance/accounting, acute care pharmacy revenue integrity, and retail pharmacy reimbursement across Duke Health’s three-hospital system. Dr. Petrovskis’ work has focused on enterprise pharmacy business strategy and financial management throughout the post-COVID-19 financial recovery. Some key achievements include 340B implementation of a new Covered Entity, navigating a HRSA 340B Program audit, developing operating budgets performing within 1% of targets, and implementing CMS drug waste billing requirements.

Dr. Petrovskis also held an Adjunct Assistant Professor appointment at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy where he was the course coordinator for PACE 825: Foundational Practices of a Successful Health-System Department of Pharmacy, and a lecturer in PACE 832: Financial Management of Health-System Pharmacy.

He is passionate about resident education, frequently precepting residents on a Business Services rotation. Prior to Duke, he was the Clinical Manager, Pharmacy Supply Management at UNC Health from 2017-2020 where he was responsible for health system pharmacy supply chain operations including purchasing, distribution, repackaging, ADC replenishment, and code tray replenishment.

Dr. Petrovskis completed a two-year residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration at Nationwide Children's Hospital in May 2017. He completed a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2015 and Master of Science in Health System Pharmacy Administration 2017, both from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with family.
